Riding since the age of 2, Lynne’s career has spanned a lifetime to include riding and successfully competing at the high school, college, professional, and amateur owner levels; training and riding at the professional level; and coaching at the professional and amateur level. As a military officer, Mark’s position as Director of Engineering and Construction developed his strong skills in goal planning as well as direct and long term funding of projects. She has trained with Laura Kraut and Nick Skelton and has worked alongside Emile Hendrix. Amiee is the youngest rider to ever win in the International ring at Spruce Meadows and has showed abroad in England, Italy, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, and Spain. As Director of Sales at Brookhill Farm, Aimee will use her experience to match clients with the horses of their dreams. Toni Durham - Finance and AccountingToni brings over 35 years of bookkeeping and administrative experience to BHF. When she isn’t crunching numbers you can find her in the Hunter arena with her horse Piper. Toni came to BHF in 2008 and hasn’t looked back. She loves the family feel and the fact that her horse “can be a horse” here.Email ToniMaddie Maciel - Instructor and Events CoordinatorMaddie began her riding career studying classic dressage and Biomechanics with Ranse Leembruggen. She remained under his tutelage for 10 years. Maddie continued her education in rehabilitation riding for strength and soundness for Dr. Tim Ober’s internationally renowned veterinary consulting team. She joined the Brookhill staff in 2015 and has since developed its dressage program, serves as a coach for the IEA team, and coordinates all of Brookhill’s events.EmaiKen Hankins - Operations ManagerKen has been a fixture at BHF for many years. He is responsible for the day to day operations and horse care. Ken can always ben found keeping the property and horse looking great.Amy Burke - InstructorAmy began riding at the age of 10 and is a graduate of Virginia Intermont College. She has competed at the “A” show circuit in the Children’s Hunter/Equitation, Junior Hunters, and Medal/McClay Equitation divisions. Amy has also competed in the Medal Finals at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show. She is an avid fox-hunter and serves as the first Whipper-In for the Waldingfield Beagles in Charlottesville. She is also Joint Master of the Holly Hill Beagles in Pennsylvania. Under the tutelage of Mindy Bishop, Amy is also a well accomplished side saddle rider.Email AmyMary Harp - InstructorMary grew up in Greene County, Va. riding hunters, jumpers and foxhunters under the guidance and mentorship of her mother. She attended Virginia Southern Seminary where she rode on the IHSA Team under the guidance of Sandy Gerald and was awarded the Anne Mish Award. She continued her education at the University of Kentucky and received her BS in Agriculture. Mary holds colors with the Farmington and Keswick Hunt Clubs. She has ridden several ponies and horses that have won VHSA, VPBA and SWVHJA awards throughout the years. When not teaching at Brookhill, Mary works at UVA with the Dept. of Biomedical Engineering.
