Lynne Beegle Gebhard embodies what it means to be a true horsewoman. Riding since the age of 2, she has devoted her life to horses and the sport. Her mother, Jean Rittenour Beegle was an accomplished professional who started the Ohio State Women’s riding program. Lynne had her formal education at Southern Seminary and received a 2 year degree in Equestrian Studies. Lynne then transferred to the University of Virginia where she graduated with a B.S. in Education. She has been coached and attended clinics by some of the best Olympic show jumper & event riders such as Anne Kursinski, Greg Best, Joe Fargis, Jimmy Wofford, Kim Severson, Karen & David O’Conner and Dennis Murphy. Lynne has won the Modified Jumper Champion in Virginia on Silver & Gold. She has also bred and trained many great horses like Above & Beyond (VHSA high point Jr. Champion with Best Child rider at Keswick), Silver & Gold (VHSA High Point Children’s Jumper and VHSA High Point Modified Jumper), Miss Coconut (two time USEF Regional champion at 3’-0” and 3’-3”). Lynne has personnally won numerous championships at the local and A-rated circuit to include National Reserve Champion in the Arabian Hunter Series.
